I realize we are alive according to our definition, but it is our definition and not necessarily 100% accurate or truthful.
If you begin to question alive or live and then try and prove one or the other or both, you will find no way to do so. We can only prove, we fall within our definition of alive.
There are levels of dead, levels of life and levels of live, but only one which is alive or two if you count the son, but the son is alive in a different way; more like “live”!
The stairway to heaven begins as a dead step, with the next step being somewhat, less dead and so on.
We have unknowingly placed our selves at the top of the stairway, but will not enter the kingdom, because we believe we are at the top of the stairs, with only one step remaining and even if we did take a step, we would take the step as alive, thus negating the step, for if you take as step as God and are not actually God, it is like taking a step down, rather than up.
Similar to thinking we are on the up escalator and taking steps to the top, but cannot sense the escalator is going in reverse. No matter how quickly we walk, we still end up in the basement.
We need to realize the stairway we are on is actually going down.
We need to flip the stairway upside down. Yes we will then find ourselves at the bottom stair, but it is OK, because we have a set of stairs to raise us up.
We will never request more life, if we already perceive ourselves to be alive.
I know, it is a messed up way to look at things, but try and prove alive. You will find it is not as easy as you believe.
